NOTTURNI

Ho raccolto queste immagini in alcuni mesi di quest'anno. All'inizio non avevo idea del perchè fotografare di notte: semplicemente, volevo scattare immagini non banali, di luoghi non turistici, quei posti accanto ai quali passi rapidamente durante il giorno, senza notare molto. Però, dopo avere raccolto una quantità di foto,ho scoperto di avere toccato altri aspetti: uno era la solitudine, l'altro il silenzio.
Solitudine e silenzio sono cose in genere non accettate dalla nostra società, tuttavia tutti noi dovremmo riconsiderarle come parti importanti della nostra vita. Io stesso ho trovato che la mia accettazione di esse fosse molto significativa, così che, comunque siano uscite le foto, questi mesi non sono passati invano.

I have taken these images in a few months during this year. At the beginning I had no idea of the reason to photograph overnight: I simply wanted to take uncommon images of non-touristic places, those places you pass by and go during the day, without noticing much. But after collecting few shots, I found that I had reached other aspects: one was the solitude, the other was the silence.
Solitude and silence are generally refused by our society, but we all need to re-consider them as important parts of our life. I found my own acceptation of them very important, so that, however the photos have come out, these months have not been spent in vain.
