Regarding UK

Ho raccolto queste fotografie dopo l'ultimo viaggio di quest'anno in Inghilterra. Non basta certo passare qualche settimana in un luogo per convincere se stessi di conoscerlo, tuttavia anche un turista (che è qualcosa in meno del viaggiatore) riporta indietro impressioni che finiscono per costituire una sua idea ben delineata del luogo che ha visitato. Io ho scelto una trentina di foto a colori per spiegare la mia visione del Regno Unito. Quasi tutte le immagini ritraggono persone, e non luoghi: credo sia il mio modo di vedere il mondo, chi mi segue sa come la penso, e in questo almeno spero di essere più viaggiatore che turista.

I collected these photographs after my last trip to England this year. It is certainly not enough to spend a few weeks in a place to convince yourself that you know it, yet even a tourist (who is something less than a traveller) brings back impressions that end up forming his or her own well-defined idea of the place he or she has visited. I have chosen some thirty colour photos to explain my view of the United Kingdom. Almost all the pictures depict people, not places: I think this is my way of seeing the world, those who follow me know how I think, and in this at least I hope to be more traveller than tourist.
